Mini the Rescue Dog
The main reason why I wanted to use a rescue centre as the concept of my book is because I used to have a rescue dog called Mini. I was quite young when I got her but I remember going to Dogs Trust to get her. Before they brought her out they told us her age and the thought that we wouldn't want to meet her, but it made no difference to us. The staff at the rescue centre didn't know what happened to her in the past, all we know is that she was brought over from Ireland. Mini was a very nervous and sensitive dog that was loved by all of us. I wanted to photograph the rescue centre to try and relive the experience she had when she was brought in.
