The other day I was watching one of my favorite Cooking channel on Youtube (Binging With Babish). In the episode he was doing the basics on home made smoked bacon. The end result was some nice THICK tough looking cuts of bacon. Inspired to make my own brand of thick cut bacon, I took to illustrator and designed a logo.
When you think of bacon obviously a pig comes to mind. I did not want just "any looking pig" I wanted something that looked tough. My initial Idea was to make an angry hog with sunglasses and a cigar. I opted out after I realized how much tougher the pig looked emotionless with the sunglasses and cigar itself. The cigar in my opinion would put emphasis on how the bacon is Smoked (Smokin).
One take without the smoke. I feel the smoke gives the cigar more definition.
