I Need Electric Currents in My Blood
An Installation Experience
In response to the prompt: create a piece to dissolve or open a border, I chose to fuse two binary opposite terms "human" and "machine" into one, opening up the border to the "third space."
As we enter an era of advanced technology, the exploration of artificial intelligence becomes increasingly popular. There is a fear that we are starting to experience as technology merges into human lives, and it is the same fear we surpassed during the introduction of computers and the internet. In this installation, I introduced a vital dependency on human and machine in the future of cyborgs, AI, and transhumanism, and expressed a sense of terror and forced acceptance to the new technology.
