Mashru Craft Documentation
Graduation Project
Mashru is a unique textile handicraft made in Gujarat, India. It's uniqueness comes by the way its woven with silk threads on the outside and cotton threads on the inside of the fabric.
As a part of my graduation project, I documented the making of this handicraft with the support of Craftroots, Ahmedabad. The video is an artisan centric film which focuses on the hard work and the number of artisans that are a part of making Mashru.
