For this project in my scientific illustration coursework, I imagined, designed and illustrated an alien creature living on an acidic planet. During the process, the class worked closely with professors in science at Brown University to discuss ideas and lend believability to each artist's envisioned creature. I also took inspiration from some of my favorite animals, including birds and anteaters.
