University Project (Final Major Project) Tandum

For my Final Major Project I challenged myself to develop a design-based solution that attempted to improve the safety of children on Southeast Asian Roads.

Southeast Asia has the highest number of accidents involving motorcycles and bicycles than anywhere else in the world. The combination of motorcycle & bicycle popularity, poor road conditions and extremely congested traffic result in all too frequent accidents.

My final outcome and solution to this problem was Tandum.

Tandum is a British-based charity that allows people to donate unused, outgrown and unwanted bicycle helmets to children in Southeast Asia, where the roads are more dangerous that anywhere else on earth.

The brand encompasses the idea of partnership and people coming together, to push for a change and reduce the number of child fatalities on Southeast Asian roads.
