Medieval Queers was an attempt on my part to express affection and comfort through my work. Using a fairytale like setting with lgbt characters seems like a proper fit, and is a setting I always enjoy creating. Most of my process was traditional, sketches developed into linework which when finalized, I would scan and determine which colors to use and where. Printing on a Risograph meant my color palette would be limited, something I found to enrich my work. 27 prints were made on white, yellow creme and light coral paper.
