About the Company: Vanilla B
The melipona honey bee is a stingless bee found in Mexico, responsible for pollinating vanilla bean plants. It is also on the endangered species list. For this reason it was important to the business that their logo help to spark the conversation about this powerful little worker.
About the Design
The geometric shapes creating a honeycomb pattern reference both the melipona honey bee, responsible for pollinating the the vanilla plant, as well as the chemical formula for vanilla. The varying weights in honeycomb as well as the proximity to the company name create a dynamic relationship between the typography and the imagery.
