Following the 2016 Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) events “Polish Up” and “Mentorship Program”, AGDA approached myself and Perth designer Monelle Trachez to collaborate on a set of thank you cards for the industry designers that participated in the programs as mentors to University students.

The concept for the cards was to show the mentor/mentee relationship between the industry professionals and students. This was done by using imagery of unpolished stones to represent the students, and applying linework embossing on the cards to represent the impression left by the mentors.
