The book below is a redesigned version of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. The goal was to create a cover and interior that fits the aesthetics of the time period the book takes place in. The cover was created with a small symbol from the book in gold color and the interior was designed with not only the typeface and placement of type in mind but also the type of paper being used.

Detroit made Murals is a collection of images and text about murals located in Detroit, Michigan. The layout was chosen carefully and some elements from the mural find their way on the page but maybe not where one would expect.

Jamie Reid Punk Posters and Album Covers is a collection of works by Jaime Reid and some other history around the designer shown in MLA format. The design was influenced by a zines from the time period.
