I went for a contemporary and industrial vibe on this project. The design was inspired by Brutalist architecture. I love the shapes and forms of Brutalism and also the way that the designs in this style are frankly quite simple, yet they are always so interesting and raw.
That is what I wanted to reflect in this catalog design. I also thought this style would really compliment the beautiful designs of the Herman Miller pieces and wouldn't distract from the pieces being showcased.
