Designing with Type
For this had to explore various aspects of the fundamental design principle. I had to make one to do with Scale, one to do with positive/negative, one to do with tension, one to do with pattern, one to do with congestion, and one to do with playful. So, I had to make six. This one doesn't  have thumbnails or roughs. 
Pattern
This one had to be in a pattern. I used the color red for the background and black for the letters. The letters I used are v and z. The type face and font I used was Digit regular. 
Positive/Negative
This one had to be positive and negative. I used the colors black and white. The letter I used was z. The type face and font I used was Digit regular. 
Scale
This one had to do with scale. I used the colors black and blue. The letter I used was x. The type face and font I used was Digit regular. 
Playful
This one had be playful. I used the colors black, white, green, and blue. The letters I used was o, a, l, j, and the number 0. The type face and font I used was Adobe Caslon Pro. 
Tension
This one had to show tension. I used the colors black and blue. I used the word tension and the letters S and T. The type face and font I used was Avenir for the letters and Adobe Caslon Pro for the word tension.
Congestion
This one had be congestion like. I used the colors black and blue. The word I used was hope. The type face and font I used was Adobe Caslon Pro.
