Animated with WhiteFeather Hunter and Marc Beaulieu, co-organized with Milieux Institute for Arts - Culture - Technology and the Master of Design Program (Concordia University, Montreal).

3 teams of 10 participants were invited to grow their own mycelium lamps using Grow It Yourself (GIY) kits provided by Ecovative Design. Salvaged bubble wrap, glass/plastic bottles and tape were the only materials used to form the shape of the lamps.

This workshop was an initiation to the fields of biodesign and biofabrication while stimulating participants' resourcefulness as they had to work with limited resource and tools.
