It does not absolutely refuse the use of livestock according to our needs, but it is time to prevent unnecessary suffering on livestock, to provide a basic way of life for livestock and to respect animal welfare
움직일수도 없는 좁은 공간, 먹고 자고 배설하는 것 외에 할 수 있는 일이 없는 단조로운 일상은 우리들처럼 나름대로의 사회를 형성하며 살아가는 것이 자연스러운 가축들에게는 극심한 스트레스를 유발하며 병들게 한다.
우리들의 필요에 따른 가축들의 이용을 절대적으로 거부하지는 않으나, 가축들에게 가해지는 불필요한 고통을 막고, 가축들의 기본적인 삶의 욕구를 충족시켜 동물복지를 존중한 사육방식이 필요할 때이다.
