Puzzle Box Magazine
This is another Liberty University class assignment that I had, and this one took me the entire semester to complete. This particular class was called Publication Design, and in it we were expected to piece together a complete publication. I decided that I would go the funnest route I could think of and I created a magazine for puzzle lovers called: Puzzle Box.
For this assignment I used free public service announcements to fill in my pages and help me reach a number that was divisible by four.

I also wrote the article about the time traveling brain and all of the puzzles myself, all of the other articles were written by others, and permission to reprint for educational purposes was granted when I asked for it.

The imagery is a combination of free stock photos, Illustrations drawn by me, and photographs that I received permission to reprint.
Here is an example of two spreads featuring puzzles that I designed.

The bankless word search puzzle is something that I designed and wrote, with a little bit of help from a website that will take your words and create the search for you automatically. From there I took the text the program gave me and placed it into InDesign with a full justify alignment. I was really happy with how it turned out.

The brain maze is something that I drew by hand and imported into Illustrator using the Adobe Capture app on my phone. I then lucked out with the brain themed PSA and found the perfect advertisement to complete the content of this spread. (Yes, there is a solution)
