So back in 2016, I was ramping up my t-shirt company and came up with about 15 designs. Akira, being my favorite post apocalyptic and anime and manga story, was my inspiration for this design. It only felt natural to choose NYC over say, LA.
Fast forward to this week when I read that Appian Way and Taika Waititi wants to make an Akira film... based in NYC. I felt I needed to post this ASAP before someone else does.
