Book Cover
After taking photos of household objects, I chose a title that matched the mood of my pictures. I chose Oedipus Rex by Sophocles because of the dark mood and symbolism with reflection and identity as shown through the mirror and fingerprints respectively. For Oedipus, it was too late when he finally uncovered his true identity and fate. I imagine him pressing his hand against a mirror, horrified with who he saw and by what had transpired by the end of this tragic play.
