Not Marble, nor the Gilded Monuments

The garment is inspired from Shakespere's sonnet- Not Marble, nor the Gilded Monuments. The poem goes that the mighty rulers build statues and monuments to immortalize themselves, but wars and calamities turn those statues and monuments to dust. But this poem, it would ever remain alive, fresh and immortal and generations which transcend upon the Earth would read it. The theme that I have derived from this is- Wither Away. Time is a giant wheel, revolving incessantly; a thunderous tide which sweeps everything away; an incontrollable horse which runs relentlessly. The garment consists of a Corset with tissue layer over base fabric and soft floral embellishments along with horizontally paneled flared trousers with rexine & lace fabric manipulation in black so as to show decaying of life. The decay is rising upwards from the trouser bottom to the full-of-life corset top, thus fading away the life.
