Allure of liquids

During my PhD I studied the perception of liquids. The use of computer generated stimuli allowed me to carefully control intrinsic properties such as the liquid density or viscosity.

I noticed how aesthetically pleasant some liquid shapes could be. This is my first series purely made to emphasise the beauty of these fluid shapes. Each simulation consists of millions of particles which are in this case simulated in an environment without gravity. The shapes are generated by applying carefully designed forces on the liquid matter and let it evolve over time.
