The task was to design a fictional event poster solely using typography to encapsulate the nature of the chosen event.
The Poster
↳ The background reads in repetition the name of the festival. The shades of grey signifies the different ages and walks of life of the attendees while the overlapping letters signifies the various activities and programs offered that will bring about different experiences for everyone.
The Collaterals
↳ A similar design was adapted for the tote bag with the festival's abbreviation highlighted in red for contrast.
↳ The brochure was designed to include information such as event listings and contact details. The square format was intended for a modern touch and to tie in with the block type.
↳ The plastic carrier was designed to hold and package purchased items such as publications from the festival.
