Challenge: Create a piece that highlights accomplishments of current students and alumni of the mathematical sciences department at Carnegie Mellon University. The successes and application the department is wide-ranging and deserves to be represented as one of CMU's top contributions to society along side the fields of engineering, computer science and performing arts.
Solution: Showcase the visual work of mathematicians in an artistic and compelling way. To exhibit deep understanding and pioneering work, some articles will be presented in "2-languages," english and mathematics.
