This is an mock-up book cover for a short story by John Updike, which is about a boy's journey in an carnival and how he peeks into the adult world through the gambling game.

For the book cover, I combined the Ferris wheel with Fortune wheel. The former wheel stands for innocence of childhood, and the latter one represents the lure from the grown-up's world.
