It's becoming an habit to experiment with 3D and my photography, this time I picked a night time pic of a bridge nearby my house with a super intense mood that I love. From the begining I knew that I wanted to play with the animation nodes features (Of course, I'm talking about Blender), so I decided to mix it with the "metaballs" (another awesome tool from Blender).

The Material
I knew that for the "metaballs" I needed a reflective material to generate interesting contrasts with the lights of the photo, that's how with some simple adjustments I got the reflectivity I was looking for:
The Animation
For the animation I wanted to use a new tool for me, the "animation nodes" and this experimentation was perfect for that. AN allows you to create animations without using the timeline, it is similar to being "programming" but using nodes. After playing a bit with the system I came to a result that I liked very much:
