Richard’s Printing Services, Inc. is a well-respected, family-owned printer in downtown Knoxville, TN. The company has been around since the ’60s. Their previous website was created back in the 2000’s. Now, it’s time for an upgrade. The owners of Richard’s Printing and Pioneer Media network together at a local BNI chapter, so Rick decided to utilize our website design services to reimagine his website. 

Once Rick provided a Dropbox folder of their logo and samples, we got started on the design, which only took a week from initial mockup to completion.

The fun color scheme coupled with the extensive gallery of samples makes the website stand out. They have 12 categories of samples, including business cards, banners, flyers, posters, yard signs and more. A particularly unique feature is an online upload page that accepts up to 100mb PDF and image files. Rick now has a centralized location on the website’s backend where he can store and review his client’s uploaded files.

Rick has gone through over 50 iterations of their logo. The current evolution is a throwback to old-timey diners, and this design choice reminds customers that Richard’s Printing Services, Inc., is an established, time-tested company.

We built the website with a responsive design, which ensures the site looks perfect on any device sizes, all the way from 4k desktop computers down to smartphones. The benefits are in both user-friendliness and search engine ranking.

Yes! The site is secured with an SSL Security Certificate. SHA-256 encryption secures the file upload feature as well, so sensitive documents make it to Richard’s Printing without being exposed to prying eyes. Google also gives a minor boost in search engine ranking to websites with SSL certificates.

Yes! We are currently brainstorming an eCommerce element, as well as an online design & print platform. There’s a lot in the works for Richard’s Printing.

No. We continue to provide web hosting, domain registration, email hosting, site updates, analytics traffic reports, Google SEO monitoring, regular site backups, virus removal, security patches, customer support and more through our Website Care Service. Rick’s website is in good hands!

Company Description: In 1963 Richard L. Roth Sr. established Richard’s Printing as a 2nd source of income. In 1975, Richard’s Printing Service became a full-time venture that would support his growing family. Richard Jr. started helping his Dad after school and weekends, often hearing “Someday all this will be yours.” And in 1996, he took over the family business.

Rick Jr. incorporated the business in 2005 and moved it to North Knoxville on Tennessee Ave. In 2008 he moved the business to its current location on Bruhin Street. Rick Jr. has added banners, signs and screen printing to the growing business. However, the business still remains centered on his Dad’s original values of long-term relationships, fast and high-quality service.
