Special Edition!
On Closing Night of the Spring 2019 Styleweek Northeast, Providence-based designer Zoe Grinfeld presented a three-look capsule collection modeled by her “living dolls” in a life-size doll’s box. Inspired by the intersection of the 1992 Totally Hair Barbie and today’s Barbie Fashionistas, I outfitted an 8-foot pink wood box with this series of vinyl graphic elements.
The box sat on a platform above the cocktail area. From the giggles, photo-taking and sharing to their Instagram Stories, it was clear that guests were brought back to their days of doll-playing.
