"If I could have whatever I wanted..." of course I'd make a bike with disc wheels, a tri-spoke front wheel, one piece carbon bars, and a carbon frame! Those things just LOOK cool. They also lend themselves well to graphics, since there's more surface area to play with. That same thinking drove the design of the crankset as well.
