This piece was created to encourage the viewer to reconsider what they do with their plastic waste, especially plastic bags, and to encourage recycling. I had hoped to promote this message by catching passing viewer's attention with images of trash filling a beautiful ocean scene. The typographic treatment of the text was also designed to catch a viewer's eye and prompt them to remember what happens to a large percentage of plastic bags.
