Solidworks - 3D Printed Connection Project

Designed and created in Solidworks, and made through 3D printing, this set of toy allows the user to disassemble and reassemble at will. All the components, including different bases and tops, can be snapped onto each other. Depending on the shape of the top, pill-shaped or propeller-like, the user can either spin it manually or blow on it to make it rotate rapidly. Because of the friction between plastics, this toy tends to make a ‘whooshing’ sound when rotating, simulating multiple senses at the same time.
