I constantly feel like I am caught between two worlds. Binaries never made sense to me, as I always felt things were on a spectrum. For me, I am a Chinese-American who loves her alone, quiet thinking time but also loves being around other people and studies both the arts and sciences. 

In this tunnel book, each pairing describes a pair of worlds that I find myself caught between. The viewer can look at all the compositions together all at once, but can also take each set out one by one and view them individually. Then, they can reorder the sets and view them in a different way, just as certain parts of my identity come out at different times, with one being more predominant than another.
