Headphone Design MUJI

The objective of this design project is to analyse the Muji's identity and define the explicit and implicit values of Muji brand. The second phase of project focuses on translating the brand values into a product to extend current Muji's product portfolio.The starting point of  this project relies on the identification of a brand language to lay a basis for , creatively translating brand value into the design of headphones.
Concept 
It was an attempt to approaching core value of Muji, laying on the basis of the universal form of headphone. This concept keeps values of simplicity and unconsciousness but explore possible forms and changeable languages.  After brainstorming, several concepts came out.  Initially, the driver is supposed to be smaller but earcup keeps big enough for the sense of comfort. A suspension part was first evaluated too big and then removed after peer feedback due to the loss of simplicity.
