FLUID SUBTRACTION
RIGID EXTERIOR / FLUID INTERIOR
The complimentary abnormality of the fluid inside exposed in relation to the exterior to me seemed interesting as a case study because of its relation to not only architecture but also social behavior, and such where the form and colors expressed can also be interpreted accordingly to our outer and inner perception of ourselves and space.
The procedure of leaving only 50% of a cube with a dimension of 6 cm was done through grasshopper by having a malleable sphere which changed its shape and size into irregular fluid forms which was later used to subtract with from the cube.
All the time whilst changing the parameters of the subtracting object, a panel with the volume of the remaining cube was placed.
Using the panel and the parameters i kept changing the form until i had reached half or 50% (108cm3) of the cubes original volume (216cm3).
