ATMOSPHERE AND MOOD
IN ILLUSTRATION
I find drawing an effective way to capture and conserve a feeling. The key ingredients of creating a mood in a picture, for me, is 1) colour and 2) light.
I use grainy brushes a lot. For me, relates to the texture of the air, and also reminds me of old-school printed posters.
