I made motifs from paper and placed them to repeat a pattern. I then painted this pattern with two different colour palettes, chose one, and repeated that

Process
Sophomore Surface Design
I laser cut a shape that I studied in my Sophomore Surface Design class playing around with folding paper. I then placed each motifs with various sizes: L,M,S, to make a pattern. Then we were to draw the pattern out with pencil and choose two different colour palettes that would suite the pattern. I chose one of the colour palettes, and scanned it and repeated the image four times to create a full four by four repeating pattern.
