The Opta Website

Opta’s previous website had served the company well by generating countless sales leads and contacts but after two years became a victim of it’s own success as the company grew. After much consideration from all areas of the company, these were the most critical problems the new website needed to solve.

•  ‘We need to give a much better instant impression of what Opta actually does.’
•  ‘The current site is too big and needs to be condensed into a sector specific format.’
•  ‘We need to have separate regional websites.’
•  ‘We need a refreshed and updated design.’
•  ‘We need the site to be easier to update and maintain.’

By arranging a detailed site map a lot of the problems we faced simply disappeared - organisation was half the battle. When we decided to use Umbraco as the chosen CMS, we also solved a number of these issues such as the ease to update and maintain the site as well as managing four other regional versions.

The site was developed by Outside The Box.
