My 'Parsons Challenge' which I submitted for early action 2018 for Fall 2019 admission. I was accepted with a merit scholarship!

The prompt/ instructions for my year was: Create a new visual work inspired by the theme of a piece submitted in your portfolio. Support your process by writing one 500-word essay describing how your ideas developed. You may also submit up to two additional visual pieces that document your process. All forms of media are acceptable—drawing, video, photography, sculpture, 3D work, collage, and digital images.

I created a graphic print inspired by a project of mine entitled 'Connections', and my personal journey and connections to New York. I then applied this print to a 4 piece illustrative collection designed for fall. 

These pieces were accompanied by a 500 word essay which describes my process and development.
