- estimated time of reply
- Tell A Friend system (TAF)
👩🏻‍💻 Interviews & Personas
#Interviews

Four people in total were interviewed. All of them with different professional background and in different age.
All of them were asked about the process they currently use while having issues to solve and about the tools they prefer or do not like at all.

🛠 User Flows & Wireframes & Prototypes
#User flow

When the problems and potential solutions were identified user flows were next step. Step which is a bridge between researched information and wireframing. I have created around 5 user flows of the main scenarios to be visualised.
#Low-fidelity Wireframes

Based on the gathered information: competitor analysis, interviews, personas and user flows I made a few wireframing sessions with different levels of fidelity to give the App the first visual form.
#Mid-fidelity prototype
🎥 Usability Testing & Improvements
#Usability Testing

I have conducted usability testing with six participants with very different professional background and in different age. Exactly like created by me personas.
Four usability tests were in-person and two remote. Tested mid-fidelity prototype was done in InVision.

Usability tests gave, as always, a big learning about users and that UX designers need to go out with the project as soon as possible to challenge every idea they have.

#Improvements

1. Wording on buttons and input fields need to be as simple and as clear as possible.
2. Information architecture needs to be restructured.
3. Social login buttons might be for some people misleading.
4. Search field is used by many users as a global search for everything inside the app.
📱Hi-fidelity Prototyping & UI
#Hi-fidelity Prototyping

After testing my idea of the App with the use of mid-fidelity prototypes, I had a list of changes that need to be implemented. Next step: UI.

P.S.
If you want to check my InVision prototype click here or if you are interested in my video presentation of the app check this out.

#UI

When a solid part of the App’s UI was made I developed a style guide that would define re-usable components. Thanks to such a guide multiple designers and developers can work on the same project and stay coherent.
Copy & Language guidelines
ExpertApp language is very friendly, understandable for everyone, not too professional, however, not childish. Depending on the subject, professional terms are used and very well explained. ExpertApp language should break and not create boarders between human beings.
Dos & Don'ts
1. No dark backgrounds
2. No filled icons
