Our goal as Graduate Student Alliance is to facilitate interdisciplinary conversation among students. We believe that from sharing perspectives, beliefs, and ideas, flourishes project to it's fullest.
Grad Sculpture Major Quintin Rivera-Toro and I have been fortunate to coordinate this weekly event called [fast|high-noon]. We pick 2 students per week, and every friday those chosen students get to present their work from their studio space to anyone who is present.
15 min each, 7 min to present / rest to discuss.
It is open discussion, open critique, in timely manner.
It is my pleasure to see this conversation happen on campus where each department is physically detached from one another. We hope to keep this dialogue going until we graduate.
