This aluminum piece was created to celebrate the movement these unique hinges. Similar to the process of experimentation and discovery of the tin-plated steel nonagon, the hinged object began as thirty aluminum studies and several prototypes.

Each piece was precisely measured to hinge smoothly while allowing tolerance to be twisted. With the twist, the piece is not only satisfying to play with, but creates beautiful forms to admire.
