The project is about designing a car with the use of a mouse trap as the only form of a motive power. This mouse trap car was mainly designed in the styling category. The design was based on the traditional japanese patterned fan and its styled toy car. The car was mainly made out of cherry wood, which represents the japanese national flower cherry blossom. It has  a hand made fan installed in the back with traditional japanese patterned paper. The two wheels on the back was made out of cork to reduce the weight of the car to speed up. It is a convertible car. The convertible slowly closes as the car moves forward.
