Inspired by a fascination of the natural textures in our environment created through a constant transformation of our planet’s elements
A lighting collaboration of Irina Flore and Leah K.S. Amick
This wall light showcases a projection of ridged and layered patterns, mimicking the landscape that surrounds us. Three light sources beaming through a crumpled, semi-opaque material result in a repeating, overlapping shadow effect cast across the wall. Much like the natural textures it echoes, Umbra’s light feature can be transformed with an additional crinkle or crease of the shadow’s source.
