third year autumn project: Truck and temporary structure, abbey ruins.
Description: a reliquary was chosen to be transported to abbey ruins in reading, uk. in this case the reliquary was a section of the robin hood gardens facade. a truck encasing the object was designed for transport with accomodation for the driver and specialised professional. once in reading the object was deployed onto site and a tempory structure was built alongside it for tourism. this building includes: reception, tent hire, purification pods, accomodation, gallery/exhibition space, the reliquary, food outlet, seating and restrooms.
