‘Enabling the rural child with the same education as the city child’
This is the motto of the Sri Ramachandra Grameena Vidya Vikas Kendra Trust.
A semi-urban school on the outskirts of the city of Bangalore, this place was created by a remarkable family devoted to the purpose of educating underprivileged children of poor agricultural workers & construction labourers.
This task was undertaken as volunteer work to help brighten the walls of the school for kindergarten sections. The effect was an increase in awareness and general interest in the children.
