The logo for Fat Taters was one of those icons that came together very well. The design was based on the development of an elegant representation of the familiar cat that lives at the gency. The notion of the eye glass and top hat was developed to emphasis elegance and statue, which luckily allowed the inclusion of the light bulb to represent the creative thinking aspect of the design agency.
This logo design was a spark of inspiration based on the author's personal love for nature, and in particular trees and birds (red hawks in particular). Whilst sitting on my balcony the flash came to me of how to combine the two elements. With some work it came to reality in one of the best icons I have designed.
This logo went through several variations before coming to its final conclusion. All were based on more complex variations of using the mountain as a motif. However, again, trying to restrict the design to a more simplistic variation I though about what they were trying to do in their work. It was about music. So, it seemed natural to combine the two. The result was a very stylish and simple logo that shows a sound wave and a mountain range in one.
This logo when through two variations to completion. It was working toward having a cool cartoon type character to start with. However, after discussion with the client, there was a need to be more clever and abstract. After some thinking there was another link to music, so I realised that 'Dirty Dog' was also in symbol form the notation for decibels. So I dropped the first 'D' to a lowercase to denote decibels and added the flick of a dog's tail at the end. The splat was added to make the 'dirty' connection.
This logo was a redesign from a logo the client found wasn't working for them. The notion for the entire range, was to have a focus on some characters in the selling of the product. As 'jalapeño' was the most common and well-known chilli pepper, I worked on making this into a character. The result (if I say so myself) was very effective. Then the font and logo surround was manipulated to allow the balance of the company name and necessary information. This logo works best in colour, and a separate portfolio is available for this product alone.
One of the best logos I have designed. It started as a reference to a sketch the fashion designer had done, and showed me in the initial discussions for the logo. The lines were simplified and corrected to make a better flow and an essence of white of the dress was added to complete the form. A classic unicode font (Garamond Classic Unicase) was used in order to allow for the logo to be displayed in both Latin and Greek characters.
A logo designed to represent a holiday resort complex of villas. Using the traditions of the Greek culture, there was a desire to hold some of this style in the final form. The original logo had some clever use of the 'U' and 'A' as Roman type letter forms, in 'V' and inverted 'V' styles for maintain a more classic look, however the client was worried about readability. So it was revert back. The icon was adapted based on me seeing a linkage when moving the 'M' and 'V' around and seeing that the 'V' elements on the header sat exactly on the 'M'. A little styling resulted in the now design.
One of the things I try to do, when I get the opportunity is recycle concepts I have had before. This logo was derived from some of the work I did for a previous company. The concept in the coloured version is to show both sides of Olympus as a summer place and a winter place. So green and white were combined with the traditional blue colour of Greece to create the effect.
This logo went through several variations before completion. Working with the client to get an exact concept he had in mind. The idea is that the term that is the name of the company, is an expression for hunters who hide in their hides. He wanted to symbolise this, but not in an evil creature sort of way. Luckily 'Ratatouille' was coming out so I looked at how to soften a rat look and achieved a good pose. Adding the additional elements helped the hunting angle and with a few minor adjustments to the pose to give a hunting dog stance the logo was finalised.
Another complicated logo. The client wanted to emphasise the leg rings. On a need to include the types of birds they ring, in the logo also it made emphasis hard. A compromise was used in the inclusion in the 'O' on IRON, using some negative space in order to style the band. The duck to the left was designed first and worked well, but the inclusion of the goose was added to balance, but made issues in the sizing and style of the legs. eventually it worked out, even though it isn't the best possible solution.
Again, this is the second rendering of the logo based on client change. The original had a cut handle that was in the shape of a smile. This was changed as the bags made by the company use string. So I did a negative cut in to the body of the bag to try and retain the smile as much as possible and then have the handle over the top.
In the development of this logo I did a very stylised letter form with the use of 'S' and 'K'. The client however wanted 'Σ' and 'Κ' as they are a Greek company. This didn't work in the original concept, so I had to go back to the drawing board. After some thinking and many variations of the design, I was thinking about how I teach Gestalt theory, and this concept popped into my head. Again, it works in colour a little better, but the idea is that the sigma is in negative form and the kappa is in minimal form and together they form a united shape to create the logo.
This logo was designed for a T-Shirt printing company. The client had specific needs, so after some working, this became the final solution.
Logo designed for radio morning show. The idea was that the show was a way that many people wake up in the morning, and that here in Greece the sun always shines. So the idea was to combine all those elements in a way to make a catchy and fun logo, that included the times of the show in the clock face.
Magazine logo based on the notion that the hailer was a way to broadcast. It was stylised with the gestalt values of negative space in the main circle and allowing for completion in the design. "Open" was then also split phonetically, that gave a clever twist in revealing the word "Pen", by which tool writers do their trade.
This logo came in an instant spark of inspiration. The concept of tropics and island and the shape of a pizza seemed to be a natural choice for the design. After some reworking on an original sketch this was the final solution.
A very difficult logo to design. After working with the client to design on their request of having a classic angel form, things seemed to be working against a good design. On request to deliver what I thought would be good I delivered three concepts. This being one. On seeing the more minimal approach for the logo, the client realised that this was the best way to proceed.
This logo was aided quite a lot by the fact that I spotted the 'Q' whilst searching some fonts. With a small alteration to the design of the Q I managed to make it look like the wheel traveling across the ground. The simplicity of the form was extended to make the bike design, and simple flash on the helmet was added to show speed.
A logo design based on their original use of the bulb as a feature. Adding a surround to indicate the cord of a controller, with joystick attached.
This logo went through several character manifestations, to get to this final outcome. The client requiring it to hold a certain expression that was difficult to achieve in minimal form, but worked out in the end. The font also was manipulated a little to remove the tail on the inner 'G' to make cleaner.
One of the better variations to show the network association for the service provider.
Logo designed for a free press magazine. The use of Gestalt theory and negative space was easy to use in this design, as the two "i's" in the word Greek word μήνυμα could be made into connective aspects in the verticals of the 'M' and 'N'. Μήνυμα means message in Greek, and was an ideal word to experiment with. To also give an ambiogram feel to it also, the 'A' was separated from the main form of the word and an onomatopoeic feel was created.
The resulting logo came from a series of test in different icon forms of styling the three worded title. After much trial and error, this was the final simple outcome. Clean and connected. It shows design based on connecting the terms style and media with the single strand of connection.
A logo that was designed for a Chicken Food outlet. Went through several versions of the character design, but on the whole was taken from the first concept. The colouring and delivery was meant to represent the charcoal grilled approach to the food served, but also have a friendly and spontaneous feel to the logo.
Two logo concepts for business travel group. First attempt was to draw on the idea of the four seasons in one icon. So the leaves were added with different color values to show the changing seasons.. With the undulation then representing the difference in holidays between land and sea.
The second was flashed from some inspiration when key wording some aspects of holidays. the notion of travel and loving to travel were brought together in the MAtisse like icon of a couple going on holiday.
Logo design for Brazilian dentist office. The concept was to show her speciality of brace fitting, but to not have a negative aspect to the design. The concept was then born to show the brace as a smile across the tooth and make the filling area a heart shape. The coloured version incorporates some typical clinical colours, and ended with a good result.
Logo for a beauty salon. This started off with more abstract concepts and an avoidance to use the obvious cliche aspects. After some searching for colours and fonts, the design came to this conclusion.
Design for an accessories store. The process was vast on this logo design. Basically starting with a carte blanc and then being given direction toward hand written style. The logo went through many changes. This was the final outcome.
With a combination of website design, business cards and logo, this was a project that needed to fit well together. The original logo was asked to be enhanced, but instead was rendered from new, with several ideas. This one was based on an abstract lens with the shutter being enhanced with several colours.
Two logos designed for the development of online resources and literature regarding cannabis legislation and growing. The first was set out to be the main logo, and there was a need to avoid the cliche images of cannabis. What was attempted was to use the recognisable shape and then to add a slight alteration to it. This came in the form of the colours and the simplification of the leaves. By accident the pen shape was formed whilst developing the second logo design (below) It fitted nicely into the main leaf shape and corresponded with the writing aspect.
The logo below, was developed at the same time. There was a need to have the medical symbol incorporated, as well as the leaf. Well a great deal of trial and error, the idea of combining the two, but in a stark minimal aspect was devised. This ended with the current logo.
Logo design for local product designer. The idea was to include a little lateral thinking on the part of the logo, so after some time looking at possible angles, it was noticed that the "n" and the "t" could be made to be reverses of each other. So with a little styling the logo was born.
Logo designed as a subsidery to the Goin' Lupi brand. The logo had to have the same feel, but be different. The aim was to create a worm that acted as a focal point, but at the smae time use it to create a line that flowed the text together.
Logo design for Irish finance app maker. Based originally on the development of a Scandanvian symbol that was the 9 triangles of prosperity. It slowly eveolved into a design focusing on the rising stocks and freedom like air in the sail.
Logo design for Kazakhstan clothing company, who wanted to emphasis their brand in line with the styling of the London gent. Their requirements were to uphold the values that is London. Some research was developed an d the eventual design was based ona  combination of London road sign, underground symbols and classic hats.

Design for a Ukranian based architect firm. The notion was to indicate the development of structures in abstract form.
