Harvest is a farm table designed for a client that desired a table for gatherings that fostered socializing. Table is constructed from reclaimed heart pine

Longer and narrower than a standard table. The narrower depth brings the users closer together slightly overlapping the settings for an intimate experience. The longer 7' length accommodates 6 people on the sides and 2 on the ends.

Dados in the table top accommodate stretchers that support the pine top and counter sagging by spreading the weight across the stretchers. Mortise and tenon joints create a stout base while wood buttons tie the top to the stretchers in mortises.
