This new home was designed to fit seamlessly into a historic neighborhood, meeting both the Historic Design Commission criteria and high performance building criteria.  The project is a LEED for Homes Platinum certified project, and was the first home certified under the 2015 National Green Building Standard, achieving Emerald level certification.  It was the recipient of the 2017 USGBC award for Outstanding Single Family Home, Zero Energy Ready Homes Honorable Mention, The Earthcraft High Performance Home Award, and the Decatur Historic Preservation Commission Award of Excellence.
