Designing a structure or other element of the built environment meeting different functional requirements and helps to eliminate construction waste.

There is a lack of sheltered and free to use spaces within most cities. Designing a structure for the general public to use as they wish, offers the perfect meeting point and location to eat, socialise or simple sit whilst people watching.
A passageway running through the structure defines a clear path through the site
highlighting the historical feature running through Market Square, Nottingham that once divided the city.
Wood as the main material within the design brings a sense of the natural world to the man made environment, referencing Sherwood Forest, an important element of Nottingham’s history. Solar panels are incorporated with in the design providing renewable energy to the structure and site.
