The Wall and Immigration

Immigration Information Website Prototype
For this project we were told to pick a topic that's polarized, and make a website geared toward educating people about your message. We were to define our target audience and design everything based off of their needs. Extensive sketches and wire frames helped to whittle down the information to the bare minimums. The hardest part of this project for me, was the research. I think I did way too much research, and when it came time to create the project I had too much information to sort through.

I really enjoyed making the icons and graphics for this project. I kept a common color theme which echoes the colors of the American and Mexican flags. The main background color and texture is desert sand, included to represent the many miles of desert many immigrants attempt to journey through each year in the hopes of entering the U.S. 

We were required to display 5 graphics with one of them including a comparison, which I accomplished by comparing the minimum wages of the U.S. and Mexico and displaying the difference in a visual way.
