TR-808 POSTER DESIGNS
This series of poster designs chronicles the inception, design and social effects of the Roland TR-808 Drum Machine. The posters were developed in continuation of an interest in the history of the machine that I initially researched as part of a History of Industrial Design course at RISD. The visual language of the posters is taken from several internet searches for contemporary graphic design, but is also heavily influenced by Russian Constructivist graphic design of the 1920s. Below, you will find photos of the posters together, a summation of visual references and the posters separately.

The typeface used is DIN Alternate. The posters measure 18" x 24”.
