This project started as an incentive to combine my Insect silhouettes with some quote or fact about them. The more I thought about it, the more the fundamental idea of simply getting along with bugs came to mind. It seems that from an early age kids are taught to kill flies, to step on spiders, and to be afraid of bees. I don't think that this needs to be the case, since I strongly believe that we can live harmoniously just as we have for the past 200 000 years.
