While at my internship at Stun Creative in Los Angeles, I was tasked to reimagine one of the company's past projects.
At first we see this strange, unrecognizable object, which appears to be underwater. A girl comes into view, swimming peacefully through the unknown structure. We realize the girl isn’t a girl at all, rather a mermaid. Suddenly, we get a closer look at the mermaid and realize she isn’t like the stereotypical Disney mermaid. Her piercing eye stares right back at us as the frames flash to her sharp fins and clawed hand. Bubbles then emerge and slowly disappear as we start to see the unrecognizable object zoom out and reveal the word: SIREN.
I'd like to thank Stun, especially Michael Vamosy, Gilbert Avila, Joel Lava, and Joe Lilli for guiding me and providing me all the assets for my twist on the Siren promo. And also Rob Tremain for mixing and adding sound effects to my final cut.
